Dedicated to the memory of Sally Stiegler

This site is a tribute to Sally Stiegler. She is much loved and will always be remembered by so many different people around this small world of ours.

We will celebrate Sally‘s life. This is consistant with the way she lived her life, always celebrating, milestones, achievements, and the good things in life. She celebrated her family. She celebrated her friends. She celebrated her colleagues.

I don’t need to write about how wonderful Sally was. I have spent the last weeks reading responses to her passing from all of you from near and far. Clearly, this would be preaching to the choir.

It is the most impressive collection of writings I have ever read. It is said that one should be judged by the friends that one keeps. The responses from all of you are a most articulate testimony to the quality of human that was my Wife, my partner, my best friend, my soul mate  and my much better half.

The over whelming use of the word positive was used when describing Sally. She was a builder.  She built family. She built teams. She built careers. She built lives.

She was my Ruth.  She converted to Judaism when she saw it fit so well with her philosophies, and it created a single family identity. With a six month Abby and a two year old Jacob she had the courage to agree to join me going to China with absolutely no familiarity with what that would be like. She trusted me. More importantly, I trusted her, as I knew of the immense potential for her in China, given her talents and capabilities. China was very fertile ground for Sally. Working with one blue chip company after another. First, Coca-Cola, second Ermenegildo Zegna, and finally Apple.

Many times during this last three months of struggle against this difficult disease we took great comfort in knowing that we lived life to its fullest, fully celebrating friends, family and Life’s opportunities. we did not wait to live life in our retirement.  Her beautiful life cut short could not rob us of this and our never ending love for each other. This then is Sally‘s legacy that will inspire all of us who had the privilege to share in her life.

With love,

Ira
